Hi, I’m Trish – Pip & Apple owner and photographer. At home, I’m a mum, a wife and a sister and chief chocolate eater – but mostly just mum.

My babies mum’s and dad’s call me the “the baby whisperer” which is thanks to the in depth training I’ve done with the top professionals and experts in the newborn buisness as well as over ten years experience as a full time professional photographer with Insight Photography. 

I just wish I had known what I know now when my own little man was born.

Inspired by beautiful light, tiny details, and honest emotion, I aim to create simple, timeless portraits that are works of art.

With my “day in the Life’ sessions I aim to capture you and your family just being you…with no posing or interruption…just pure candid images and emotions.

I’ve a photo of my dad, my sister and I that sits on my bedroom locker. My dad passed away many years ago and although he’s not giving his greatest of smiles in it…it brings me back to a time when we were all together, wrapped up in his arms in our PJ’s, feeling all warm and safe…all this from just one photo!

I guess that’s my way of explaining why I love photography and doing what I do.

I guess it all started for me with my dad’s love of all things creative, whether it was out in the shed helping him to make some piece of furniture, or watching him paint, draw or doodle! Although I tried, my paintings of roses in a vase never quite cut it so I laid my paintbrush to rest and picked up the camera. I have been taking pictures ever since!

From a serious hobby I went on to gain my qualification in Photography and membership of the SWPP, developing both the technical know-how and creative ability to capture emotive images in a unique and contemporary style.

Using the highest standard of professional photographic cameras and lighting equipment I believe in making your shoot as relaxed and stress free as possible.  I get a real thrill from capturing striking, spontaneous and natural images.

Each photograph that captures a special moment in time, for me, represents a little piece of magic!
